Life Without Limits is an amusing yet an inspirational book written by Nick Vujicic, a preacher who has travelled around the world inspiring people. Born without any limbs, Nick overcame his disability to live not only independently, but also to live a rich and fulfilling life. He is a model for anyone that is seeking true happiness in their lives, or anyone who is not satisfied with themselves. The text is a brief yet inspirational autobiography about the protagonist Nick himself.
The purpose of this text is to guide the readers through the smoothest paths of their lives and to let them know that situations could be worse but they are not!
In his autobiography, Nick tells the extraordinary story of his bodily disabilities and both physical and emotional experiences he has encountered through out his life time. “For the longest, loneliest time, I wondered if there was anyone on earth like me, and whether there was any purpose to my life other than pain and humiliation.
Now think about what it would be like to be free of those limitations. What would your life be if anything were possible?” This is another quote from the text, assuring us to know that there is someone out there who is in worse conditions than us, but still there to help us overcome our challenges. Offering practical advice for a satisfying life, Nick changes our thoughts towards ourselves completely by the end of the text. He encourages his audience by showing how he began to accept himself the way he is, not worrying about how the World judged him.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this novel, and would very much recommend it to people of any age, especially those who require some inspiration in building trust, supportive relationships, and gaining strength towards others. What makes this book interesting is that once you pick it up, you automatically have the urge of finishing it.
